Customisation has always been around motorcycle but never i would have imagined I could actually use my graphics skillsets to create a full makeover to a Motorcycle. What best than a FunToy Dirt bike KTM SXF to get my hand with it. The goal was to get the best looking race bike for the bucks. After designing my own racing leather, let’s have fun with the KTM.
From a KTM SXF 450 dirtbike to a Supermoto 505cc
A bit of labor and photoshop
Originally designed for the off-road, the KTM was progressively customised to become a very efficient Trackbike. Bigger disks with Brembo brakes, Brand new wheels with Metzeller Slick SM tires, After an engine rebuilt adding a brand new 505cc kit and a slippercluch, the Katosh505 just needed the final touch with a new Customised Livery
The Result
The bike is now loving the tarmac, the mono 505cc engine with the light dirtbike frame makes this “Supermoto” so easy to handle. Short & Medium racetrack are the perfect playgrounds for this kind of bike, light and torquie, it’s a pleasure in the twisties.
It was a very nice learning experience thanks to the Sydney French Riders crew (aka the Romains) as much on track than off track.
